The DPA mics have a clicking sound when connected to bluetooth enabled wireless transmitters so I won't be buying them!!!

Does this still sound better than a UX570?

It took me 2 years to discover that the reinforced parts of the cable protectors actually have velcro loops on the inside for securing the recorder in place. Never seen any pictures or videos where this is shown. Zoom corp don't even show them in use in their own advertising material. Weird. Loads of people, inlcuding me, have come up with different ways to stop the recorder slopping around in the slot but those hidden velcro tags are the just the job.

Hello again, I'm using mine with a Scorpio. My question is: Could I link two SX LC8+ so I have 16 faders? I know a pair can be linked. I'm just not sure how to proceed using a Scorpio as a recorder. I have your tutorial for both surfaces, yet it doesn't seem to be working for channel 9 to 16.

Hello from France, thank you for your work. I'm recording nature ambience sounds exclusively with a MKH30/MKH40 configuration (I do not record human voices or vocals). Often I need to raise the gain when I record in a forest in order to record birds and insects, which leads my microphones to produce more white noises. Would NoiseAssist fits this kind of use? Would it erase or ruin the nature sounds (birds, insects, water.. any kind of environmental sounds) the same way it erase the white noises?

Can I use that fader as a Pre Gain Fader, not Post Fader?

Thank you. Best to list the sensitivity too, so with the max SPL, one can figure out it's usable range. And also important against the inherent noise level.

Thank you for that video! :) I use the canon 6d and mix pre3 mark2 but even on lowest camera rec level the test tone is louder then -12db on camera interface reaching still yellow are. I can't go lower in camera because then there would be no input at all. This is also with the test tone set to -20 in sounddevice. What am i missing? Using normal 3,5mm aux stereo cable.

If you have 2 Track E's but no Sync-E timecode generator. Can you somehow use your Track E as timecode generator on your camera?

Can the mix pre 3 be powered by v mount battery rig? I have the Shape D-Box v mount system powering a Black Magic 12G monitor and Sony A7iii. When I plug the MixPre3 into the power distribution plate via a usb a to usb c cable, I get a TON of audio noise. Any help would be appreciated.

If I wanted to use the UltraSync as a master TC for BOTH my audio recorder and my camera, hardwired to both, is there a setting to shut off the RF completely so that it is not broadcasting using up extra battery?

Just received mine, looking forward to getting out and doing some recording with it. *Edit one thing I have seen is that the dial ok the right which is for up/down/left or right depending on the menu is reversed for the markings of left or right on the recorder 😑
